CUTTING SHEARS

Sheet metal cutting shears are used for cutting along a straight line. Sheet metal cutting shears are distinguished in hand, foot, electric or hydraulic (swing or guillotine type).
Sheet metal cutting shears are equipped with cutting blades up to 6.5 m in length. The upper cutting blade may be slightly inclined in order to reduce the cutting force. Shear cutting is progressive along the cutting blade length. Guides and hydraulic clamps and are used to accurately position the metal sheet prior to cutting.
